October 16, 200322 yr I cannot root for the Cubs under any circumstance. Anyone is entitled to root for whomever they want, but I can't understand any Sox fan actually rooting for the Cubs to get into the World Series. Personally, I think that sucks, but that's just me. I would term people who root for the Cubs to get into the World Series baseball fans first, White Sox fans second. I'm the reverse ... White Sox fan first, baseball fan second. I have not, cannot, and will not ever root for the Cubs. Period. Screw that "it's good for the city" bulls***. Rant over.

October 16, 200322 yr My 6 year old daughter wanted to wear her Sox jacket to school today. With as ugly as the world was today, I had to talk her out of it. I felt terrible doing that, but any other day I would have let her.
