Like they couldn't have signed Nelson Cruz instead of Liam Hendriks? I'm pretty sure they could have. I know you want to blame Jerry for everything, but the Sox 100% could have executed the off-season better with the funds they had available to them.

I suppose they could have but the manager requested Liam Hendriks
