July 1, 20214 yr I typically don't like blowouts much due to a lack of drama, but stuck with this one longer than most games of this nature due to the fact it was the Twins and based on Josh Donaldson's general overall douchebaggery which he ramped up the past two days. It sucks he homered twice, but the wins far overshadowed all of it. Solid matchup today, looking forward to listening to a White Sox sweep this afternoon!
July 1, 20214 yr Looking back, it's hilarious how Donaldson pimped his home run only to see his team implode and get destroyed. Also, his next at bat ended with a comically bad sword (and one of the loudest cheers from the fans of the game). It was like a WWE storyline where the heel gets the better of the good guy over and over until he's soundly defeated at Wrestlemania.
