August 13, 20214 yr Not sure where to put this, but over his last 50 PA’s Yoelqui has a 15.1% BB rate, 18.9% K rate, .341 ISO, & 207 wRC+. I know that’s a small sample, but given his age I’d be pushing him to AA.

August 14, 20214 yr Grandal went 1-4 playing DH for Birmingham. 27 yr. old Jameson Fisher had 3 HR's and a walk hitting behind Grandal. Our A League teams Kannapolis and Winston-Salem are a combined 59 W and 117 L. AAA Charlotte is 31-57. Only Birmingham has a winning record of 47-40.

I get why the low minor teams are terrible (#30 farm system plus a lot of really young guys among the new prospects); but Charlotte's roster doesn't look like a 26 below .500 roster.

No one has really talked about it in these threads but Burger has been out since he injured his hand July 30th with a bone bruise. He was initially put on the 7 day IL but last I read they were talking about him possibly returning before the end of the season.
