Has Tim won this before?  I assume he did when he won the Batting Title in 2019.....  Can't remember.

Grandal isn't winning so it doesn't matter, but him not being there is pretty funny. Kind of sad we only had 1 nominee

Dylan Cease was robbed.

Indicative of how this team way overachieved and more kudos need to go towards LaRussa making something out of a very anemic underperforming offense most of the season.

I understand health played a big factor on why Eloy, Robert, and Grandal didn't make the list.   But there are no excuses why Abreu and Moncada underperformed so badly.

Take a look and Yasmani’s stats compared to Sanchez.  I knew Yasmani had a much better season, but I didn’t realize he was in another universe until I just looked.  What is this garbage?

All-offensive awards that ignore every offensive stat?  Offensive.

Abreu finished second in RBI and hit 30 homers while playing banged up all year and with long periods of his protection being out with injury...I'll take that underperformance all the time. Moncada played banged up all year as well and was disappointing offensively.

The Astros, Blue Jays, and Yankees all have five finalists each. That shows how far the White Sox have to go to be competitive with the elite teams in the AL. The Sox have too many one dimension players.

It shows the Sox had major injuries to the core guys who could have made this list.  And this is a list of the best hitters in baseball by position.  One dimensional is what this is all about.

Robert is the only other Sox player who would/should have made the list barring injury. Jimenez was bad, there's no right fielder, Moncana was mediocre, Abreu was so-so, there's no second baseman, Grandal was mediocre.

Except for Abreu, they were all hurt.  Ironically enough, there was an article just yesterday that put Abreu 11th in all of baseball for effectiveness of driving in runs.
