The fact he's made zero progress at all on framing since he entered the organization is remarkable.

Not really as it’s always been known the Sox are quite poor at teaching framing.

I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but man, I'm so excited to hear Benetti again

  • If Leury gets more than 300 PA short of a major injury, this ownership/front office has no interest in winning.

  • I liked fat Palka a bit...he could hit with some pop.  I did not like skinny Palka...he could not.  It's a lot like Santa....skinny doesn't work.  And I do know....neither version of Palka could play

Craig Kimbrel and Tanner Banks straight up for Bellinger.

Based on this game the Dodgers would be fools to say no.

Yeah, he's really bad receiving the ball.

I despise the way the Cubs teach it with the exaggerated frame, but it sure seems more effective than not trying at all.

Shouldn't it be the coaching staff's responsibility to "coach' him? Just asking.

Katz has been a game changer on the pitching side, but there is still a ways to go at all levels of the organization

I know he's not a Top 100, but I just can't see them trading him unless they get a star back.

I can’t be the only one that found it a bit interesting how Stoney said “you would think” Sheets will get a lot of playing time

Agreed.  Who is doing that for the defense and or base running?

I didn't catch that.  Hopefully not in RF.

Miker Adolfo 3 run BOMB

Wow, huge power for Adolfo. He does remind me a bit of Reyes.

Well as the roster stands right now, him and Vaughn will both be in the lineup every day (Engel probably platooning with Sheets).

Micker and Yoelqui upon hearing our pleas for a RF: SOXTALK, ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?

No, I think everyone assumes he will be playing a lot. Just the tone of how Stoney said it was a little strange.

A team like the A’s or Reds should totally take a chance on Adolfo

If rosters are expanded to begin the season, I wonder if the Sox will give Micker a chance to stick rather than trading him for a minimal return or DFAing him
