April 12, 20224 yr No updates from me tonight. I'm at the Durham Bulls game scoping a Max Meyer start. ?
April 13, 20224 yr Bill Simas’ kid dominant so far: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 7 K, 1 BB Edited April 13, 20224 yr by Chicago White Sox
April 13, 20224 yr Not White Sox related, but Max Meyer is perfect through 5 and is electric. Edited April 13, 20224 yr by DirtySox
April 13, 20224 yr I’ll take this Dalquist line. Some dingers, but showing out on 6k in 4 IP. Simas has picked up where he left off. And BBailey 2-2

And there's another Max Meyer who comes up first at wikipedia, a German midfielder. Let's see how long it takes for him to be surpassed.
April 13, 20224 yr Huge tradition of great players out of SD State, starting with Tony Gwynn and Strasburg. Obviously Simas has a LONG ways to go, but it's encouraging for the lower level guys to put up some big stat lines for a change. Edited April 13, 20224 yr by caulfield12

Really, they should dedicate a whole episode of Ripley's Believe it or not on the White Sox refusal to accept left handed savagery. It will be like the episode about the little kid who lived in a particularly scorching part of Arizona but never liked ice cream.
