October 24, 200322 yr There was some game last year where a girls team lost 142-2, or some big number like that. I think it was in Michigan.
October 24, 200322 yr In HS, while a Freshman, we lost a game while scoring 1 point on a technical foul when a guy got pissed the ref called a double dribble on him. We couldn't (obviously) buy a bucket. Had a 1/2 court shot at the half-time buzzer nullified for having 6 men on the court (Duh!) I blew a wide open layup with about 6 minutes to go. Dribbled the ball off my foot Later, as varsity, we lost to Westinghouse in our Thanksgiving Turket Tourny like 123-38 or some big whomp. Larry Lujack had it as his Cream of the Week and hyperventilated he was laughing so hard. At half time channels 2, 5, 7, and 9 had all sent camera trucks to the game. Westinghouse alerted them a head of time they were really going to put the hurt on a team for the pre-season polls. They had 4 or 5 buses of fans show up at the game. We could have pulled 5 guys from their fans and they could have put up a better game. Could this be why I'm a Sox fan

October 25, 200322 yr They're waiting until the All-Star game to see if they should fire the coach. They are tied for the lowest payroll in the league, you can't compete with the bigger market schools. But I did hear they fired the team manager, something about too much starch in the uniforms.
