jesus fucking christ this team won't be satisfied until Eloy destroys himself, Robert, TA, or Yoan pretending he's capable of playing a barely passable LF...

Can we stop this ridiculous statement that a bad outfielder is a danger to the other defenders on the field. It’s stupid and it’s stated on here continually as if it were a fact. A slow defender or one who takes bad reads on balls is no less or more likely to call for a ball, nor is he less likely to hear a player calling him off, like the Eloy and Robert bobble head last week.

Again, repeated on here continually and it’s silly and a silly argument.

Serious question, have you actually watched this team play defense?  Because we have quite literally had players injure each other and themselves during their fielding attempts.

Its really not tho.  Eloy routinely has close calls on collisions in the OF.  Its just a matter of time until he takes out one of our other prized assets if they decide to run him out there most days,

Not silly or ridiculous at all. LF Haseley is the reason Mendick is out for the season with a torn ACL. In that play it was Haseley's responsibility to call off Mendick loudly with waving arms, which he obviously did not do and thus a serious season ending ACL injury for Mendick. Then you had the Moncada/Seby near collision the other game. That could have been ugly, The fact of the matter was it was Moncada's fault as he did not yell loud enough or call Seby off. The fact is, this has happened numerous times all season long where we they are constantly having near collisions because they are not fundamentally strong in the field on flyballs and popups.

Moncada has screwed up pop ups in the past. So I understand why you'd be quick to blame him. But on the ball with Seby the other day I'm pretty sure I remember being able to hear Yoan calling him off on the broadcast and seeing his lips move.
