I want the Sox to sign one of Giolito of Cease to the largest contract in club history prior to spring raining just so that we do not have to belabor the point that Benintendi has the largest contract in team history.  It's a stupid narrative but one the media likes to dwell on.

Which is something Jerry rightfully gets dunked on for. Not being willing to spend at the top of the market is extremely inefficient and has held the Sox back significantly during this window.
