Probably Bullshit, but thought it was worth a thread. 

That guy posted a bunch of "insider" points in a post the other day on the White Sox subreddit. Some of them seemed believable. Some of them were absolute bullshit. So take that with a grain of salt. It's not like anybody here really should want to rely on Pineda as insurance. He's god awful. 

I had no idea this was posted already, I thought it was thread worthy.

Seems like exactly the kind of guy you want as insurance. If he wasn’t bad last year he wouldn’t be available as insurance. But he has been pretty good at times in the past, so either he helps us, gets cut or eats innings at charlotte

Seems like a strange rumor to make up.  Nothing exciting.  Not that I believe it's real, but...

Lol, wouldn’t we all. One may cost $15M AAV, the other a milb deal. 

Id happily take Pineda on a minor league deal. We need all the SP depth we can get.

I actually looked pinedas numbers other than last season he was not bad. I mentioned wacha not thinking he would want 15 million.
