I've got my bet down. Even sprinkled some down on the pennant cuz why not? It's happened twice in the last few years with the Phillies and Nats looking God awful then making it to the world series.

Who is the Sox Bryce Harper?  Steven Strasburg?  Max Scherzer?  Heck they don’t even have a Kyle Schwarber.

I look for the tigers to drop out leaving the indians, twins and us battling for the much sought after and prestigious  division crown :)

We definitely have a fair amount of bad contract Strasburgs... just not in the form of one miserable contract in the hundreds of millions.

Are you arguing the WS-winning version?

Because he's now almost 100% sunk cost.

But at least the Sox will save money pushing Giolito and Anderson out.  Pretty soon the team will be basically unrecognisable except for Robert and Cease/Kopech.

Yes I’m saying where is the Sox’ version of WS winning Strasburg (if one is going to say they are the equivalent of the 2019 Nationals).

At about 5% when averaging B-ref and FG.

Let’s see how this week goes. Gonsolin and Kershaw, Tues and Wed. Looks like we’ll miss Kirby and Castillo in Seattle.

They’re going to get stomped by the Dodgers. That Lynn start will be something else to watch.

Next nine days could be the final nail in the coffin. Mariners might be getting it together. Rangers score 6.5 runs a game. Looks like we’ll get Heaney and Eovaldi. (Not Dunning)

5-4 would be a huge win. Nobody would be shocked if it’s a 2-7.
