When you’re retired and not golfing or reading, there is quite a bit of time to think and fret over the White Sox.

Cleaning up after my two dogs in the yard.

Scraping burnt food off a pan.

Cleaning the bathroom toilet the day after White Castles lunch and Taco Bell dinner

Playing Immaculate Grid and thinking "how can I shoehorn some bum in that also played for the Sox?"

Reminds me we need a “Pics” section pinned at the top of Slam.  

I think I may have hit the next stage.  I have pretty much quit thinking about them.  My MLB tv package hasn't been used since the fly ball landed between Robert and Benintendi.  I just don't want to get upset anymore.  I make the thread on the future side and check the results the next day when I make the new one, then kinda just forget about them.  It is sad.  Something that has consumed me for over 50 years is gone.  My son got me the "Out of the Park"  baseball game, maybe that will rekindle something.
