danman31
It's 'Go Time' For Kobe It's written by Peter Vecsey and it's only got a small bit on the Bulls, but that would be very interesting to have Kobe on the Bulls. Thoughts?
Chisoxfn
It would be absolutely amazing. My feelings are that Crawford and Curry would be untouchable. You'd love doing it without Chandler, but if any of them would go, I'd say Chandler simply because his back problems and then include Rose and whoever else it takes to get the deal done. Man wuold it be sweet having Kobe. Put Kobe, Crawford and Curry on the same court and look out. All of those guys are explosive and Kobe will provide damn good defense. Then you have a role player like Pippen/Gill at the forward slot as well as Erob on the bench and then insert Fizer/Marshall at PF or try to find yourself a more defensive oriented big man, maybe a Tyrone Hill who is out their via free agency. If somehow its done without Chandler, all I can say is wow. Rose, Heinrich, Fizer, whomever. Get Kobe in Chicago
CubKilla
f*** Kobe. If Reinsdorf is seriously considering signing this piece of s***, then his mandate to KW of 'I only have $0.50 for every MLB $1.00' is total bulls***. The Bulls already have 6 rings that I could give two s***s about. Spend the money he's gonna commit to a rapist on the White Sox where you have ZERO RINGS Reinsdorf. YOU TOOL! :fyou

No reason to put the money towards that sack o' garbage in the NBA, when he can let the kids get experience in Chicago now, without the felon. Spend that money on the area that needs it, 333 W. 35th St.

YOU TOOL! :fyou The one thing I'll give JR credit for is he's always shelled out the bucks in regards to the Bulls. The fans have shown up and he's paid huge amounts of money for them. I wish one day the Sox club would have the kind of lasting excitement and ability to get the Cell sold out for a few years and build the Sox fan base back up. If that ever happens then I have no doubt JR will spend whatever funds necessary. The problem is, you have to not only have great management but also a little bit of luck for things to work out that way. I'm so confident that this team could be great again next year at about a 60 mill payroll, the question is whether KW will have the ball to do it (I think he's got the balls to make big changes) and forget about what the medias reactions would be. Trading maggs could be a fiasco, but get a talented player and freeing your budget restraints so you could add 2 or 3 pitchers is more then worth it, imo. As a GM, my flaw is I wouldn't think twice about trading a fan favorite if it meant it would improve the team. I still have good feelings, but thats probably the optimist in me. As far as Kobe goes, he f***ed up, but I still think he's a pretty classy individual and a hell of a player.

Just curious, but may I ask why? 1.) I don't like basketball. 2.) It's time for Reinsdorf to bring 6 rings to the White Sox.
DBAHO
It'll neva happen. Kobe will stay with da Lakers or go to da Clippers, Nuggets or Jazz in da offseason. They're the only teams who can offa him da max. Don't think Paxson would be mad enough to trade for this head case who'll complain after day 1 if he ain't gettin 30 shots a night. Well if the Bulls trade for him they would have to give up Rose for the trade to work under the cap so the Bulls would be able to afford him. The deal would not be Kobe for Rose straight up of course. The Bulls would have to give Chandler in all likelyhood.

He'd take too many shots for Shaq's liking. I heard a rumor of Kobe for T-Mac straight up which is just crazy.

Nokona
If Kobe came to Chicago basketball would come back to Chicago. Let's face it guys, the Bulls have dropped off the face of the Earth after being all that we had. If we got Kobe, the stands would be filled every night and basketball would be back. danman31
Whatelse he is supposed to say? Exactly, in this case you should take the player's word over the owner's word. I think this was a big PR move by Buss. Saying he won't trade Kobe, which he probably won't unless Kobe forces him to through a sign and trade deal. doubleM23
I must agree with CK's sentiments... The tiny little Bulls fan in me can die happy because I have seen the Bulls win six championships, but the Sox fan in me is still waiting for Reinsdorf to pony up the cabbage and bring a banner to the South Side. f*** the Bulls (for now).
