So yes, as previously reported, Jose Castro and Daryl Boston are out. But Hasler and Chris Johnson are just being cycled back into the PD staff.

Unless some major moves start happening with the new farm director this just looks like the same shuffling of positions we always get. But glad dbo is out.

I do find it interesting that they included in the release that CJ & Hasler have been "offered" positions in PD. Obviously no guarantee that they accept, but seems like they're still deciding if they want the roles or can find better gigs elsewhere. I don't recall seeing something like that in a Sox press release before.

I think the Gene Watson hire, means that Hostetler is out. Especially with the way that Reinsdorf spoke about him during his presser.

Chris Johnson (and Miguel Cairo) are on Dave Martinez’s staff in Washington.
