Round 1 was a draw. Melo had 14 points on 6-17 FG's, and 6 RBS. King James had 7 points on 3-11 FG's, 11 RBS, 7 AST, 2 STL, and 3 BLK's. James is gonna be an all round monster.

The NBA is in a heaping s*** of trouble if they're banking on these two to save the league any time soon. They're just not ready.

I hate how people call a kid who has played like 4 professional games "King James". I feel he is overrated and time will tell if i'm right or not.

Let me preface this by saying I don't watch basketball at all (I know that rhymed, shut up) but this hype is really getting out of control. I mean Sportscenter was going nuts for LeBron in the first two games, but the TEAM lost both games. Apparenty ESPN was covering the Cleveland LeBron's. If I we're his teammates I'd be pissed.

Chalk that one up to the media. LeBron IMO will be a really good player in this league, as will Carmelo. I think its good for the NBA that they finally gave younger fans a reason to watch their "product" again. I for one absolutely hate the NBA, but even I was interested in watching Carmelo play, moreso than LeBron. NBA is just a space filler between football and baseball IMO.

He's 18 and is averaging 15.3 points, over 8 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. You guys are just waiting for him to fail that is all. He will be a superstar one day barring injury count on it.

Thats a great average, its also only a few games into the season. I will make my judgments after a larger sample of time.

The guy is going to be a star; plain and simple...Barring injury that is... There was never this much hype on someone this big...MJ,T-MAC,KG,AI,Kobe....
