Lee could have stayed in to catch after pinch hitting in either occasion in which the opportunity arose.

Tanner Banks should only get a save opportunity in a game that has entered the 16th inning or later.

If for some awful/stupid reason Lee wasn't available to catch, I'd rather have Danny Mendick (as the emergency catcher) pinch hit for Maldonado than have Maldonado hit.
