I was just taking a deeper dive into Chris Flexen, who I believe is a strong candidate to be moved by the deadline.
He’s allowed 2 ER or less in 8 of his 17 starts & 3 ER or less in 11 starts.

The #WhiteSox are just 2-17 when he’s pitched & 2-15 in starts.

Sosa ain't gonna make it at 2b. He just is not instinctive enough to be involved in that many decisions. If you compare with with Gonzalez or Baldwin, they make the right play 99% of the time. Sosa is like 80%. Pedro is gonna see Baldwin play like 3 innings and fall in love.

That turn by Sosa was pathetic. He's 1b/3b/dh, if he hits. Maybe an occasional fill-in at 2b. Bring Baldwin up after the trade deadline.

This performance is shocking because it is so one-sided. Flexen is throwing to a normal strike zone. Pirates are throwing to the Grand Canyon. I'd check his friends' Fan Duel accounts for this game.

figures we finally develop an IF that can hit a bit for average but he can't actually play any IF other than a bad 3B.

Gavin Sheets was, in fact, not ejected. It was hitting coach Marcus Thames. Sheets hits third this inning.

that was a crazy changeup. flexen pitching better lately it seems.

Maybe someone should have told De Bong he's throwing a half billion high fastballs this inning.

Zero chance Sosa is the placeholder 1B as he will never hit that much.

I've never seen a sox CF that gets better jumps coming in than Robert. Going back he has some issues but coming in and to the sides he's the best I've seen, and that includes Cameron in his early prime.

Feels like maybe the Sox should trade Flexen right now. During the game. His value is never gonna be higher.
