And to your point about stolen bases no longer being a factor, one of the biggest stories is about a guy becoming a 50/50 player. One of those 50s represents stolen bases.

Yeah but he's special. Who else is swiping bases? It was deemed too risky on the injury front and not that important to run scoring in the eyes of the stat people.
