LOL, Benintendi was just interviewed and said it was weird that the Sox fans were upset that they won.  Hilarious to hear a player admit that.  Chuck said the fans wanted to see history.

I'm a big fan of Cannon since he isn't one of those break a wall pitchers. 

Still puzzled by that infield pop up. I guess Cannon called for it. Watched one of the better teams in baseball mess up one between the IF and OF last week.

The Sox trailed going into the bottom of the 10th inning 7-6, they won the game on Benintendi's two-run home run in the last of the 10th.

That's a comeback win isn't it?

Exactly. I already made that point either here or to friends. Let's face it some of the young guys have been playing and the Sox won't have to go out and sign any DeJong's or Nickys. They've got some young guys like Sosa they've been playing. They already have their catcher, etc. And Cannon was outstanding and they have a plethora of young arms that they'll say are all studs. I knew we'd have a good final two weeks. Par for the course. Please don't win 40 games. Stay under 40.

He's actually become an average player. Again, another guy the Sox will market in the offseason as a stud they don't need to replace. I do appreciate all his home runs this season. It appears he tries hard.

@Green Line - this organization deserves the negativity.

Shattering the record is the only way to have a hope, besides immediate death to the owner, of making a meaningful and sustained change to the way that the team is run, which is literally the only way we can get out of this owner-mandated misery.

Given those two choices, I want the record. Otherwise, cheering for this team to win right now is to cheer for this team to continue to be run "Jerry's way" until he dies.

But please tell me again how I need to behave.

Schriffen may have outdid himself last night when fans were chanting sell the team and clearly wanting to see history, cheering for Angels runs and booing after the Sox won by thanking the fans for coming out last night and showing the love.
