February 21, 20251 yr Six should jump on that and claim him. 24 year old OF who hasn't gotten much of a shot in the majors yet.
February 21, 20251 yr I like my Sosa for Canario deal. I'd have think Sosa is an upgrade over Vidal Brujan or Gage Workman.

As I said previously, if the Sox are going to bury these guys, might as well use them to get a potentially useful piece if they are just going to be buried here and waste a roster spot.

I’d still like to see what Sosa can do just because of his one last hot month, but I am pretty sure Lord Meidroth will be taking over 2B eventually anyways.
February 25, 20251 yr Cash considerations, lol. Awful. But I guess it’s a good thing we will get to watch several outfielders well into their 30’s get plenty of at bats with the Sox this year. Our primary right fielder is 10 years older than Canario. Stupid. Canario was added to the Mets roster because Nick Madrigal was placed on the 60-day injured list with a left shoulder fracture. Obviously the lack of options hurt, but not a single rebuilding club was even willing to give up a lottery ticket.

My guess is that the lack of options is the much bigger reason, as teams have pretty much finalized their 40-man rosters with ST having started. Edited February 25, 20251 yr by WhiteSox2023

February 25, 20251 yr There's no such thing at google as a "cash considerations" statue...this was the closest match.
