I'm surprised Ramos isn't playing in the breakout game. I was just noticing how Julks hasn't started for a while. Maton gets to continue to make his case.

Mostly roster dregs today, but then again, most of their roster is dregs.

I wonder if Gallo saw his name in this lineup then demanded his release.

Lipcius moving over to 1B, and 2024 5th round pick Sam Antonacci getting the start at 2B. Some of the FutureSox guys just love this dude.

What a botched play in CF.  That wasn’t really a tough play.

Nice to see Antonacci getting a game. He’s a bat control/walk dude but I think he has a chance to be a bit more physical than a guy like Meidroth.

I disagree. 104 EV right over your head is pretty tough.

It only went over his head because he misread it.  He had all day to get there.

Who else is pitching today?

Nick Maton playing well

Seems everyone loves his infectious trash talking personality...brother  Phil big league veteran reliever.

Montgomery saves at least news run there with an easy/

The good: Wolkow, B. Montgomery and the stud lefties

The bad: Colson against fastballs, Meidroth and team warning track power

Not joining the Bergolla hype train quite yet, lol?

Sosa also seems to be cooling off a bit, but the sporadic playing time isn't helping much...hopefully these last 10 days or whatever the regular line-up can get more repetitions together.

Also looks like Teel gets a quality/competitive at-bat up there on most occasions, never looks that over-matched.

These guys play every day. If they're not in a scheduled game, I'm pretty sure they're in drills and B-games in the morning.

I think Bergolla has solidly put himself on the map in the middle infield picture.
