States Sox went with pitching in first round because of a lack of Fuller. Proceeds to say not having Fuller did not impact draft selections because rounds 4-6 were bats.

Make it make sense, por favor. Sounds like excuses of convenience.

I didn't "state" that. You could just reread the actual text you just quoted to see that. Then you could read the bit of insanity I answered with my 2nd comment for it to "make sense".

Imagine how high the Sox lack of confidence in their ability to draft position players must be if they would seemingly rather take raw arms that are much more injury-prone pretty much at all times throughout their career than position players?

You're just trolling at this point.

It’s still early and I remain somewhat hopeful, but taking Hagen Smith over the cohort of positional players that were available is fucking killing us right now.  Konner Griffin is currently #1 at BA,

No prospect within the top 30 in the MLB and not too many exciting prospects after their first 12.  Seems reasonable.

  • Can also not understate the disaster that was the Cease trade, unless that trio of prospects magically turns it around.

So sox went with an arm in round 1 because Fuller wasnt here so it was safer but the lack of fuller didn't scare them because they took bats 4 of 6. Also, drafting an arm is never safer than drafting bat.

Thats called talking out of both sides of your mouth, which happens when you spend so much time making excuses for bad decisions.

Lo siento that nuance in a conversation hurts you. I hope you brought extra epi pens.

It's also weird that the Sox doing something well makes you so angry. Chill, dude.

I truly wish there was a question mark reaction, because the only person in our interactions that starts belittling and name calling is you.

Also, what do the Sox do well that I'm supposed to be angry about?

Personally feels like the season is firmly in the denouement now. The MLB roster took a small step forward, the minor league system all together, given it graduated Colson, took a small step back.

Org wise it feels like progress but also absolutely insufficient if the goal is to win anything before 2028. We need at least two more seasons of building, and that's with good moves.

The top take away should clearly be that you can never have enough prospect strength.  Teams that are almost always near the top of the ranks go aggressively EVERYWHERE.  US, Latin America, Asia, etc.  Leave no stone unturned.  There is no so such thing as "too much" when it comes to the minor leagues.

Exactly, but I’m going to guess that Jerry is going to let Ishbia foot the bill for that spending in the future.  🤣

It’s the kind of reply people resort to when they can’t answer the question.

Are you so sure he doesn't have a medical condition, such as anaphylaxis?

You just provided your own medical diagnosis recently, one would think that would lead to more empathy.

You're being condescending, and you're misrepresenting what I said, out of context. I'm not calling you names. Just stop.

He's NOT being condescending at all, he's stating a fact, in a matter of fact manner.
