The deterioration of Taylor is alarming.

When does Shirley get some scrutiny?

But seriously, why are you drafting a guy that you quickly give up on as a starter that high?

This has to be the worse bullpen of all time.  Volpe came into this series on a 0 for 28 slump.

Keep throwing him fastballs down the plate

Or Katz or Bannister

Well Bannister was hired by Getz, so I don't expect a change.
But Katz wasn't...I wouldn't be surprised to see him go.

Shirley wasn't hired by Getz either; never hear any rumblings but using 80% of the draft on Jared Kelley has kept me antsy about him.

Bonemer and Antonacci look really good at least. But good point.

Both have been on the Sox radar for a while though, right? So can you credit Shirley with the selections?

Montgomery, holding my breath he sticks.
Earlier this year Taylor and Schultz.    Even Cannon and Burke looked like they'd be back of the rotation starters.

Some of the apparent busts I guess are bullpen possibilities (Dalquist, Kelley, Palette, et al).
There have been a lot of teases.  Hoping it all comes together.

Just pitch position guys and not ones you might if you have a lead tomorrow

I was thinking that Palette is the next guy for a call up. Not exactly good in AAA, but worth a look maybe. Still hope for Burke and Cannon. Burke was fine this season, haven't watched these Charlotte games, but maybe he and Cannon are trying new things.

Altavilla is finally back so I bet he's up soon. I'd just try out all of those guys and see what happens.

The Sox have more hits than the Yankees yet the score is 10-1. WTF

Sox gonna Sox.

Our catchers continue to rack up the hits.  Also wouldn’t mind seeing Colson pulled now

ouch

Can't wait to see this umpire scorecard. These calls have been so biased. Guy wants to go home.

Whose idea was it to make Taylor into a bullpen arm? Genius that guy is.

The big 3 pitching prospects heading into this season have been worst case scenario outside of getting hurt

Stud

can Korey start?

I wish they would have stretched out Schultz before promoting him to AAA. Then they would have known he dropped a tick or two on a full starter's workload.

Why is Doval pitching?

Just as soon as they become successful major leaguers. So far, the slate is Crochet (and he's really a Hahn/Haber selection) and hopefully Montgomery.

Yankees may score in double figures in every game this series.

Taylor is not a relief pitcher, let the kid start.

The pitching staff is ma disaster, almost as bad as last year.

Total embarrassment.

Fair point although Schultz had a knee issue and Smith had some arm issues.

Colson keeps stretching his side.   Not sure why he’s playing.

Very true. I think the system is showing something but it hasn't actually translated yet. I think they won't deepsix Shirley for that reason. I like the top selections this year, but ultimately, who knows.

Good thing it’s football season ugh

What’s the Sox record since May 1st?
