Getting tired of the "give the ball to a child" meme

Haha, that was a pretty douchy move.  He made a look like it was the camera man’s fault.

Ice-cold take. First of all, unless that ball is in your hands, it’s anyone’s. Doesn’t matter how far someone ran to get it. Secondly, I would get suspended for saying the words I’d use to d

  • It’s just one of those things you gotta do. It’s social convention. Not one I’m willing to buck. I went to a Sox game with a friend once and she told me, “why don’t you just keep it if you want it?”

Phillies lady era is over, now we're on "f*** Ken Rosenthal". Never trusted that bowtie.

He makes Meidroth look tall.

our man is apparently 5'4...and a half. I might've thought he was trying to be funny/self-deprecating by putting that in his twitter bio, but I think he actually wants people to know he's not 5'4.

The worst part of the Rosenthal thing is the dirty look he shoots that guy as if that was all his fault

No OnE wOuLd Be OuTrAgEd If He WaS a MaN!

From Rosenthal's apology: "I had to continue the interview. We were live, folks, on national television. Couldn't stop."

Ken, helping the cameraman up for 3 seconds would have made for much better live television. But sure, continue with your compelling and very important question of how the big moment made you feel as a player or whatever.

Side note: Why are height jokes so normalized and accepted in society? It's pretty weird and cruel actually.

"I had to continue the interview, that's why I mean mugged him, turned toward the player, looked back at him just to shrug and SMH".

even if we was just like, "oops, my bad" and still didn't help him up, this wouldn't be a thing. I'm glad it's a thing, the guy is annoying and has had a reputation for a while.

Eric Hosmer said it best, "Really is disgusting they continue to let you in the dugout during these games‼️"

Also that time he called Fernando Tatis a "smiling, dancing peacock", compared his PED suspension to Wander Franco's child sex crimes, called Manny Machado "punkish", said that Profar is, “the kid who pulls the fire alarm at school and then asks, ‘Who, me?'”.

The guy is not a professional.

This.    Think about the last time you (not you specifically, Kyyle) accidently bumped into someone out in public.  Did you shoot them a dirty look in response?

I know it was all spur of the moment, but it makes Rosenthal look like a douche.  The camera man had a job to do too, it's not like he was some rando sneaking onto the field snapping photos for fun.

My automatic response is to immediately apologize when bumping into anyone.

That’s such a normal response from most people.   “Oh s%*# man I did NOT mean to do that, can i help you up”

he said he was “confused”, like what was confusing?  You ran backwards so you wouldn’t get wet and plowed into a cameraman who was set up like normal, 10 feet away to get a good shot.  And instead of picking him up, he just looked at him and let someone else help him up

The apology comes immediately after "Ope".

You could literally pound Rosenthal into the ground with your fist like a railroad spike like in the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.

The proverbial hot potato. I envision a time where nobody's even paying attention to the game, anymore, just pushing baseball into each others' hands while posing.
