4-0, we got em right were we want them, should win it 10-9.

Baldwin uniquely puzzles me in the field. There's absolutely no reason for him to look so bad . Lack of experience is a factor but he gets to balls and sometime just misses them like he relaxes just f

  • I still feel like Brooks could be our version of Ben Zobrist...maybe not as good...or half as good...but that AAAA kind of player who figures it out in his mid 20s and plays every position. Zobrist ga

Not sure if there was something definitive there.

It’s too bad Sosa can’t play 2b

Colson has been great this week

Think Colson has a good shot at finishing 1st on the team in WAR.

Before todays game it was:
Houser 3.0
Vasil & Colson 2.9

I think he's gotta be above 3 now

yet we want to put every Sox player at first base, he's a DH but any player can improve their fielding

One more game of Eisert and Wilson....

it's crazy how putting guys with pop in your lineup can single handedly keep you in games, or even win them

Sox got like 2 guys on the whole roster who are a HR threat. some could argue 1 guy, lol

you forget it's the Sox organization

Both these catchers need to make massive defensive strides

they should delay this mess

oh god not this guy

These lefties are unbelievable

Has it worked once this season when Venable "played the match up" with a pinch hitter or relief pitcher? The guy really needs to learn how to be a better in game manager imo. Still like him better than Grifool and think he has a bright future. But the calls to the bullpen this season have been headscratchers.

Doesn't help that every left-handed pitcher is unreliable.

on cue. why bring Mead in for the guy who's hit a home run today?

Mead keeps getting put into good ph situations and fails immediately

he's actually 120 OPS points worse vs lefties this season than righties... .558* OPS.

let's go Chase!!

anyone else want this game to just end no matter the victor?

I'd be fine with Meidroth not being on the team next year.

He’s completely collapsed the last few weeks.  He doesn’t walk enough to justify his awful slugging.

And yet another game where the Sox had a lead going into the 7th inning or later...and lost.

That's 17 times friends and neighbors this year.

I remember a few weeks ago a poster was saying he they thought Wilson was a good relief pitcher.

Well OK then.

One more day and this abomination of a season will be completed.
