Even though it doesn't count it's always nice to beat the Cubs.

I'll second that motion!

Kay being at 96-97mph is nice, he was a ~94.5mph guy last time he was in MLB.

The White Sox started the last two spring seasons 3-8 and 3-9. It's also nice to see a way that this team could improve this season.

Re the game today, Hicks got hit hard.  2 Singles and a lineout for DP.  it's early of course; but Sox have him for 2 seasons.

I will confess that I enjoyed today's broadcast; prefer this group to the regular Cubs crew (and Sox crew for that matter).
Hire some women broadcasters, JR!

If you watch the replays of Sox home runs on MLB.com, which are a little longer than the videos shared on this forum, you get to hear more and more interesting comments from the Cub announcers.

Pretty much whenever a Sox hit a home run, we were told “that the ball is really flying out today” or reminded that “the air is light here in Arizona today”. It was pretty funny.

Hmmm, it seemed that the air was lighter for one team a lot more often than for the other.

Cub-fan tears evaporated and made the air thicker for their halves of innings.
