I don't know why that factors into that. Both the Giants and D-backs looked like they planned on being competitive this season.

I have this feeling the Rays are going to fall off as they try to find themselves, and the Marlins are going to turn into what the Rays were, having hired away Peter Bendix. Not quite the Brewers, but not a pushover, either.

Those teams sucked. But why does that make how the White Sox played in Milwaukee acceptable?
