He showed he can have a solid K rate last year. But the guy has an OPS of 1.100. Why in the hell would we keep him in A+ the entire season when he is demolishing the pitching? That just seems silly to me. Edited May 11May 11 by ron883

Birmingham will be an eye opener for him.Time to adapt or stagnate. I think Caleb will start using more of the field once he realizes it's necessary.

Dude needs to be in AA.Same reason Mune changed his Japanese habits when he had to adjust to mlb pitchers' adjustments to him after the first week or so.If they keep pitching him away to prevent pulling balls in the air...he'll have to drive those balls opposite field into the gap or occasionally over the fence so pitchers will respect his plate coverage.Carlos Quentin 2008 a good example.
May 11May 11 I'll continue to hope on the youth and results, but aesthetically I really don't like how Bonemer looks at the plate. Very stiff-looking. Just from seeing his home run swings, I would guess that he's a player who whiffs a lot because the swing looks oddly unathletic (although again, I surely don't deny the great results). There are plenty of counterexamples of guys who look a little bit odd up there and make it work just fine, so I hope he's one of them.

He didn't change it while he was raking in Japan. Caleb has no reason to change his approach in A+. He's destroying the league. Bump him up to AA and let him adjust.
