Hagen sitting 92 to 94 and not being able to find the plate makes me so sad.

Yeah he’s nowhere near ready for the majors. Does anyone really think he’d come up and not walk the world? I really do question some of the pitching development in the minors.

If he's sitting 92-94 he must be hurt or there has to be a mechanical issue.

Nice. He has been killing it from the left side this year.

More Savages!

And/or amateur scouting, and drafting strategy.

I was really hoping we drafted yesavage that year. He was much more MLB ready coming out of college. Looking like he might be the worst pick of the top 10 that year. Still can't find the plate

Condon is falling like a rock, too.

I think the amateur scouting is really good. Drafting strategy in 2025 was definitely questionable though.

Yesavage wasn't in same tier as Hagen as a prospect. Hagen looked like a quick moving college arm.

What about the 2025 draft strategy was questionable? Genuine question, as I thought it was a pretty good draft class.

Yeah I’m pretty close to losing hope of him starting.

Heard them heavily linked to Konnor Griffin all spring. He would've been a discount. Scouts had questions about the swing (Ryan Fuller not in org yet), analytics dept didn't like Cags and medical team flagged Wetherholt. Getz made decision to take Hagen Smith. Looks like a mistake.

Oh haha. I think you meant 2024 draft.

oh yeah my bad. 2025 was fine.

Smith didn't pitch deep into games and walked too many.
It was really striking when compared to Chase Burns.
But he's still striking batters out and not giving up a ton of hits, so we'll see.

But the org. overall sees pitching-light.
