You must be cheering for Belgium tonight.

Trump injected politics. Not enough. They got blown out.

Feels like people have been in a rush to move on from Meidroth basically since he debuted, and I really don't understand why.

When he was called up last year, my husband noticed that he looks like Nathan from South Park (which makes Vasil Mimsy I guess) so I'll be sad for weird comedy reasons when they eventually get rid of

  • As soon as we get a lineup with about 6 MLB-quality hitters, we want to trade one

If only Roch was a lefty

Grady Emerson is.

They lost to the same team 5-2 earlier this year. They aren't that good.

I was being facetious because she loves lefties so much. We actually need more right handed bats with how the lineup is currently constructed. Not that that should impact the decision.

The White Sox are going to have to deal eventually.

Whether they take Emerson or Roch, you have to project them to the infield. You have Vargas, Meidroth and Monty there right now. Meidroth might be the odd man out.

We might have to subtract Mune as he can walk after 2027, the future infield could be Colson at 3B, Roch at SS, Meidroth at 2B and Vargas at 1B.

She was ahead of the curve . You see how Getz has concentrated on a lot more LHH than Hahn ever did and it's a wise decision.

Sox historically are the worst LH hitting team in baseball. When a vast majority of pitchers are RH it only makes sense to have a lot of LHH. They just seem to adjust to the big leagues faster not having to face so many same handed pitchers as RHH 's do.

Of course you need balance but you should strive to have more LHH because they are more scarce.

It's something to consider in the offseason if Bonemer's ready (he probably will be); also presuming no injuries or performance downturns from anyone on the middle infield. Depth has an amazing ability to get used. But if there really is excess, we can trade it for young pitching, where we have a deficit.
Not long ago, tonight's opponent thought they had a lot of prospect depth; that lasted about a month with 1 injury and 1 bust and then they were scrambling. Now the media is trying to convince the good Sox to send them some of ours.
