Thursday at 06:57 PM1 day Impressive all around. Cardozo and Romero are both 17. Theyve both shown solid power (5 and 7 HRs respectively). Cardozo is actually batting .337 now.Another guy who I thought would make it is Carlos Vielma. He's putting up impressive stats as a 16 year old. I think he's injured though. Encouraging signs in DSL. I can't remember the last time theyve had this many young guys playing this well in DSL. It's usually a bunch of trash. See the link below if you want to look into their stats.https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/team.cgi?id=7f33291f Edited Thursday at 06:57 PM1 day by ron883
Yesterday at 01:19 PM1 day There are some interesting guys for sure. One would think that with only one team, instead of the two some organizations have, that they might have a better record than 11-21.

Yesterday at 02:03 PM1 day Probably a combination of everything, talent, coaching, and facilities. With the new complex opening soon, hopefully the facilities part is handled. Hope it comes with the necessary bells and whistles.

Many orgs already have two DSL teams. @southsider2k5 expressed surprise that despite NOT splitting their talent, the Sox still have such a terrible record in the DSL.

Some other teams split into two teams, which will water down the talent level of each of the two teams. Since the Sox only have one team, it’s not watered down at all, which is why you expect their record to be much better.
