Sox don’t have a lot of pitching depth right now, but those are two guys who could help out in the second half. Especially Smith. Need them to shove tonight.

I'm still hopeful of Mcdougal . Hopefully Thorpe can still be something. They do need a infusion of pitching talent in the minors for sure.

Smith’s control to start the game today looks awful.

Little Billy Carlson with 3 walks. He may have the power of a little leaguer, but the guy can get on base. Currently sporting a .400 OBP. If he can gain a little power to go with his on base skills and defense, look out.

Not a great sign from Shane Smith. That box score is pug fugly.

Pereira 1-3 at Charlotte. Several options starting to work their way back.

That was a real rotten outing from Shane. Even worse than it looks in the box score.
