Agreed. But if Ray Ray is going to call people out on cherry picking time periods, then he shouldn’t be doing the same.

I would assume that is his point.

Doyle seems to have the physical talent to be a good-to-great player and has played at a reasonably high level before. But you have got to squint way too hard at the numbers to find a data-based case for why he's actually been playing well or was clearly about to start playing well. If he does well for the Sox, I'm 100% chalking it up to coaching and not that the breakout was clearly inevitable.
