Matt Campbell's start is not going well.

He's also fortunate the B10 is down this year...unless the argument is that Wisconsin NW and Minnesota are suddenly world beaters.

Iowa is 18th, but that won't last

Kentucky became the first team in college football history to win back to back games by a single point both in overtime (and both by the exact same score).

They knocked off LSU 35-34 Saturday. Last week it was at South Carolina by the same score.

The Sickos Committee and the X (formerly Twitter) user CHOTalksSports pointed out recent feats of the Upper Iowa Peacocks, a Division II team in Fayette, Iowa, that merit mentioning. On Saturday, coach Jason Hoskins’s squad defeated Truman State 21–19 at home—the team’s fifth consecutive game decided by two points or fewer. Since Sept. 5, Upper Iowa has lost to Missouri Southern (21–19), lost to Michigan Tech in overtime (33–32), lost to Lincoln (34–32), beaten Missouri S&T in double overtime (39–37) and now topped Truman State. And you thought Texas had a habit of entertaining.

For the first time since 2002, Miami (FL) is ranked #1 in the polls.

I dont expect us to stay there long, I'm not impressed with how we've played the last several weeks and we played poorly against a weak FSU team.

I don't think we're going to win in South Bend. I wouldn't even be shocked of we lost in Chapel Hill in a couple weeks. This team is significantly weaker defensively than last season and also has been ravaged by injury in the defensive backfield.

ND got double hosed following missing playoffs a year ago. But 1 second left and a clear PI on the play. Was a heck of a game either way though and had Miami lost it may have been one of the craziest weekends I can remember in college football.

The refs were not in control of the game and there was 1 second left for one more play.

ND did indeed get hosed, but they shot themselves in the foot. Their QB had a clunker of a game; he was off just a bit and missed 2 easy TD passes. Plus, ND has no excuse for their elite pass rusher getting ejected for targeting on BYU's opening drive.

This goes under the radar but had a huge impact on the game. The BYU D lineman admitted to yelling HUT at the goal line at the end of the 1st half which is a penalty. The play was ruled a fumble and ND came away with no points.

BYU D-lineman admits yelling 'Hut!' before CJ Carr's costly fumble

I like that so many undefeated teams took a loss on Saturday, it shakes things up.
