December 3, 200322 yr Hmmm a 10 game road trip followed by a 10 game home stand seem to be the only huge chucks of the schedule at home/road. And once again there is a Cubs/Twins/Cubs sandwich in late June early July.
December 3, 200322 yr Call me crazy, but parts of that look very similar to the Twins schedule last year. All but the Royals in late September. I really like being able to finish up against our division. It gives us, at the very least, a shot if we are 3 back of coming back and winning the division. The odds of that happening are slim to none. I don't think we'll have a very good team this year.
December 3, 200322 yr Does anyone know if the series @MON is going to be in Montreal or is it going to be in San Juan? I wouldn't mind the game being in San Juan because of the short fences and our number of latin players, but that would be a heck of a lot of traveling.

I still don't think the Expos know where they're playing this year.
December 4, 200322 yr A minor complaint, but why in the hell do we always start the season on the road? If I'm not mistaken the last time the Sox opened up at home was the final year at Old Comiskey in 1990. Is there something written into the scheduling laws of MLB where the Sox always open on the road, and the Reds always at home? Also, 9 times out of 10, we always finsish on the road too.

December 4, 200322 yr LOL, after two games in KC were right off to Yankee Stadium to play 4 straight. Wouldnt be surprised to see us leave New york with a 1-6 record. I like it though, gives the Sox an early test against a great team.

December 4, 200322 yr They haven't announced it officialy yet, but the Sox games vs. Montreal will very likely take place in San Juan. Note the Sox play in south Florida immediately before the Montreal series, and the players association was working with MLB to ensure there were as few "very" long flights to San Juan as possible. Miami to San Juan is only about 2 1/2 hrs. at most. It's too bad they aren't going to be in Montreal, that would've been a road trip for me. Montreal is one of the most fun cities in North America.
December 4, 200322 yr Great...I have to wait all the way until September until I can see the Sox play (Well and in Spring Training). They only got 3 in Anaheim this year. Geeze, I sure as hell hope they are actually in it.

Looks like we have a pretty tough interleague schedule this year...Maybe one of the toughest in baseball!

December 4, 200322 yr Starting the year @KC, not bringing back good memories. And what's with the late start? Apr. 5th instead of late March/April 1st
