January 2, 200422 yr Lottery Winners I'd definitely start up the businesses I'm developing. I'd donate money to individuals that I think are benefiting the Faith and my church. Buy 500 Acres of land and start the commune that my group of friends have been planning. I'd hire some of my friends to do various jobs, such as yell things in microphones to emphasize my words or points I'm trying to make. I'd also build my parent's dream home. get married and have 27 children

January 2, 200422 yr I would give it all away after taking care of my kid's education and a nice retirement for my wife and parents. Some I would give away for a nice house, some I would give away for a nice car, some I would give away for a summer house in Illinois. I'm certain a couple charities would have me on their speed dials. I
January 2, 200422 yr I would invest a lot in real estate and buy the White Sox. Just in case that happens let me be the first to tell you sell the team you cheap ass bastard. You don't want to win. :fyou Just thought I'd give you a glimpse of your future

January 2, 200422 yr I'd buy the Cubs and move them to Montana. I'd turn Chewing Gum Park into a musuem of losing. There'd be a scarecrow of the following people and things: Brant Brown in left field Bartman in the LF stands Giant hypodermic needle in RF Gonzalez dropping a grounder at SS Leon Durham at 1B All these scarecrows would be filled with the ivy that I tore off the walls. Then when I stopped laughing, I'd sell the Cubs but not the park. They can go play somewhere else. Serious answer - I'd buy a KICKASS house for myself, one for my mom, stick some money into all my daughter's, nephews' and nieces' college funds and bank the rest.
January 2, 200422 yr I would take care of my family and friends (and no, no Porshes or Benzi or country clubs.....just pay for their health, take care of debt, buy a few reasonably inexpensive houses, etc), lay a few Mill aside to have fun on and to pay for my future kids education.....and use the remaining 175 Mill to help the poor.
January 2, 200422 yr I'd turn Chewing Gum Park into a musuem of losing. And what exactly do you have to do? That's already been taken care of!
January 2, 200422 yr I'd probably take care of my college, give some to my family, buy a house, a car...you know, the whole nine yards!
January 3, 200422 yr Fly to Vegas and put it all on Black 17 at the roulette wheel? Same for me but I'm going with 23.
January 3, 200422 yr And what exactly do you have to do? That's already been taken care of! How about a museum for drunk, ignorant asshole fans? The first exibit would be a group of 4 seats where there is person sitting at 1 end and the other person sits at the other and they both have cell phones and are talking about something totally meaningless and non-baseball related. Maybe for laughs one of the guys gets plunked in the noodle with a baseball just for not paying attention and spills beer all over himself.
January 3, 200422 yr I'd take care of all my family for life. Buy the Sox, donate some to a few charities, then live it up!

January 3, 200422 yr Same for me but I'm going with 23. Changed my mind, Booze and women yep definitly booze and women.
January 3, 200422 yr Author Changed my mind, Booze and women yep definitly booze and women. wouldn't those be a throw in if you went to vegas with 200 mil?
January 3, 200422 yr wouldn't those be a throw in if you went to vegas with 200 mil? Probably but I would lose valueable drinking and whoreing time by gambling. Why the f*** don't you think things through before you post.
January 3, 200422 yr OK I've been looking ever since this topic was posted for MLB Team Valuations... It looks like if you won $200 MIL after the government took half your money for taxes, you wouldn't even be able to afford the Montreal Expos. Even worse, the least valued NFL franchise came in at over $500 MIL Sorry I had to burst everyones bubble. So realistically, here's what I'd do. 1) Buy summer home in Colorado Mountains. 2) Buy Winter Home in San Diego area. 3) Open my own business (bike shop, bar, something that'll keep my interest and keep me busy) 4) Take care of my family/loved ones. 5) find a financial advisor I actually trust. (RARE) that's it. I don't need much. I wouldn't even buy a new car. And I'm driving a 00 Ford Ranger.
January 3, 200422 yr I'd probably go and buy $190 million worth of lottery tickets. If you bought that many lottery tickets, do you know what the odds are that you'll win? They are pretty f***ing good. Even if I didn't win(and what are the odds of that?), I'd still have $10 mill left over. Though I'd actually probably only have $9 million left because I'd use $1 mill of it giving to people to look over my lottery tickets. One person alone cannot look at every ticket of $190 mill worth of lottery tickets. Then I'd go to the local casino and play some Black Jack and some 5-card hold em. Of course, absolutely NONE of thise is legal for me yet. I can play online Black Jack and 5-card hold em online, so I have that going for me, which is nice(I've been wanting to say that for the whole day, so I had to get it out....throw a little Caddyshack into the mix)
January 3, 200422 yr quit school. After that I don't really know I'd quit work .... and go back to school. Of course that would be after a few well planned excursions to some of the world's greatest locations.

Gees that can't be good. 18th out of 30 teams ain't all that good in one of America's biggest markets.
