February 17, 200422 yr That's right! Our team is about the same as it was last year at this time, possibly even better. We have a 20 game winner in Loaiza (last year it was Colon), Buehrle, Garland and a bunch of question marks. We have a pretty deep and solid bullpen which it wasn't thought of at this time last year. Our lineup is decent. Our feilding, speed, and top of the order may actually be better than last year at this time with the addition of a completely healthy ARow and Willie Harris. Then you add a year of experience to Olivo and Crede. A better year from Koch, Buehrle, Paulie, Valentin, and Maggs. You take all that into account and see that the Twins have lost a bunch of players and the Royals did little to improve their starting rotation and we have better odds than last year. This is going to be a great year Sox fans!!!!!

February 17, 200422 yr Hopefully this bodes well for the WhiteSox, I Didn't see the Royals or the Twins on that same graphic, so maybe were the favorites in vegas to win the central. I think a good manager wil make more difference for this team, than keeping all the FA's we lost this last year.

I can see us beating the A's. They are depending a lot on Jermaine Dye. They better hope he is fully recovered. That offense looks anemic.

Joe Borchard, Jeremy Reed, Jon Garland, Emencio Pacheco, Neal Cotts, Rauch, Arnie Munoz, Joe Crede.... all possible "X" factors. I dont think you can be sure or be completely doubtful about ANYTHING in the MLB.

I believe we WILL make the playoffs this year. Every year we've been the favorites and choked under the pressure. I think with ozzie our guys are going to be able to have some fun and come out on top, very twins-esque.
