March 5, 200422 yr On my way to work today, I was able to drive with an open sun roof (moon roof, whichever the heck it is that I have ) for the first time since last fall. What a wonderful sound and feeling. Also, I got to break out my new Sox spring jacket. Even Brian the anti-Sox fan thought I looked quite snappy in it . The winter Sox jacket hasn't been put away yet, but it was great to breakout the spring jacket. Can't wait to start my garden and start some landscaping. Here's to spring !!!

March 5, 200422 yr spring is close here in the middle of nowhere-- got a little over an inch of soft steady rain last night (although it snowed 4'' 20 miles away in storm lake) also heard coyotes howling at 5am today---sure sign of spring

March 6, 200422 yr It took me 2 hrs to get home last night because of the heavy rain...and damn, that really sucked. Yeah that rain sucked last night for driving. It was my first experience driving in a flash flood and it was scary. I live in the country with a lot of hills and no drainage systems at all. There were so many deep puddles.

We don't get any snow down here in Melbourne, only up in the mountains, and the coldest it would get is bout 12 degrees, not sure what that is in faron height. Nothin like chicago in the middle of winter.

Up further north say in Brisbane the coldest it would get in winter would only be bout 20 degrees, so yeah it's definitely one of the good things livin down here is the weather.
