Would you make this deal?

Would you trade Tyson Chandler to the Clippers for Quentin Richardson?

If not, why not?

If Q agreed to a new deal, then yes. Problem is, what happens if we go after Kobe this offseason?

Do the salaries match up?

I most likely wouldn't do it. The Bulls need a stand alone scorer. They need someone to take the pressure off of the kids and let them develop, and I don't think Q is that good. I would rather keep Tyson and use Jamal and Hindlick.

kobe is staying in LA whether clips or lakers

No, I'd rather let Crawford go and just sign Richardson who is also a free agent. That or work out a deal where you swap players.

If we move Chandler, package him with a higher priced player and get a very good player, imo.

Heard on Mike & Mike that there's talk amongst the Laker players that they think Kobe will end up on the Knicks through a sign-and-trade for Allan Houston.

Not much basis for it besides Laker player talk...

That would be awful for the Lakers. Houston has a horrid contract and is pretty overrated.

Plus that would be tremendous for Isiah Thomas and the Knicks and I can't stand either of them. :D

That would be an interesting trade, but I got this feeling that once getting rid of Tyson, his back problems will just fade away, if thats possible, and he will get 20 points and 15 rebounds a night once consistantly healthy. I wonder how Q would do coming back to Chicago, Im sure he'd feel very comfortable being back home.

Damn. I wonder where Kobe really wants to go? I really think Chicago could put together a much better package with either Hindlick or Crawford and the #1 pick of the Bulls and whoever else needed to be thrown in to make it work financially.

I'd rather trade Curry then Chandler. At least this kid plays with heart, Curry moans and throws fits like if he's still not matured yet.

I think living in Chicago during high school and then staying in town for the pros has really stunted Curry's growth and maturity an an adult and a basketball player.

He still has his old habits as a high schooler.

He hasn't hit the wall to the point where he realizes that it takes more than athletic talent to succeed at the highest level.

A trade away from the Chicago area would kick him in the pants enough where he might improve himself.

Maybe Charlotte.
