April 14, 200422 yr Alrighty guys. I know everyone is pissed off, but wishing people dead is over the line. OK? NO more now.
April 14, 200422 yr Author on a side note we have maggs frank lee comin up it will be a famous victory for us, have hope
April 14, 200422 yr thanks for the apogoly, we can't have kill player posts here or f***ing grandmothers - lots of admin and mod discusion on same - death comments and elderly incest get the frowns this season in posting - we all know you are a great guy and wonderful poster and fan and the heat of the moment and all so all is ok my friend! Hang in, we will have a famous comeback! Is Botch the player or the grandmother?
April 14, 200422 yr The Beltran home run was more Beltran being good than Koch being bad. The Sweeney home run was unexcuseable, on an 0-2 count the only way you should give up a home run is if it was a miracle the player even made contact. SB
April 14, 200422 yr I just notice, Koch's velocity was down this outing. It seems whenever he's not able to hit 95 on a consistent basis (he was doing that his first few outings) then he really gets hit. He looked really bad. Even the pitches that weren't swung out were right over the heart of the plate. He had my hopes up and I won't write him off after one start, but that wasn't pretty. It ain't over though, lets see the Sox get this out and then fight back in their half of the 9th.
April 14, 200422 yr And todays 9th inning is what happens when Koch DOESN"T have any movement. Good Lord...that was piss-poor. Everyone here knows I'm the biggest Koch supporter here, but there's NO excuse for that. How many goddamn 93 mph fastballs do you expect to groove down the middle to Carlos Beltran and Mike Sweeney, and get by them? You can't just throw it by major league hitters, Billy....or did you not get that memo?
April 14, 200422 yr Jon Adkins??? Where the hell is Damaso???? I think Marte's been a little sore or something and the Sox are keeping it quiet and trying to rest him up as best they can. Thats simply a guess cause he really isn't being used much early on.
April 14, 200422 yr It's cool that Ozzie leaves the pitchers out there to get out of jams for themselves early in the games, but should that REALLY be the mindset in the 9th inning with a pitcher known for blowing games? I know we are onto Adkins (Atkins? I can't remember), but this confuses me.
April 14, 200422 yr So Ozzie's non-exsistant hook, or Jerry's lightning quick hook? Discuss. I vote for Gaston's hook...

April 14, 200422 yr Author just get out of this inning please. any particular time of day you have in mind?
April 14, 200422 yr Gee, bummer Billy didn't pitch better. I'll bet he rebounds sharply next time. It's only a game. I hope this doesn't upset Mr. Koch too much. I hope he has a nice evening and his self esteem isn't hurt by this.
