May 2, 200421 yr Was reported on the postgame and read on another board that Wright was sent down and Burke was called up. Don't know how solid this info is but god I hope it is true.
May 2, 200421 yr Listening to Sox postgame show on ESPN 1000, and Dave Wills just said Wright was sent down & Burke was called up. I can see Wright going down, but Burke? Melton just said that Wunsch must not be 100%. He also said Reed wouldn't be recalled unless he would be playing everyday.

May 2, 200421 yr Yeah I know. Why would a catcher be called up for Wright. If anything Diaz, Rauch, or another Knights pitcher got called up. There is no way Burke replaced Wright.

May 2, 200421 yr If they want to use Cotts in the rotation, then there is no point in waisting a young guy's options. Calling Wunsch up would make sense unless he is hurting.
