June 7, 200421 yr Blown saves make a manager look really bad. I hate that because I really like Ozzie and how he is trying to show faith in players like Garland and Schoeneweis and of course Billy. There just comes a time when you have to give up and I think that time is now. I'm just glad Billy didn't somehow get out of the 9th 4-4 and then Adkins or Cotts lose in the 10th or 11th because then Koch's outing would be somewhat eclipsed. When he got 3-1 on Cabrera I just flicked off Koch and told him to f***ing walk him and prove once and for all on national television no less how much he sucks.

They were saying on ESPN how bad Zero wanted Ichiro and would have had his chance in the ninth... the dude after Ichiro was hitting .600 against Koch career... He's a proven closer in Japan, has an ERA well under 2.00 in the Majors and oughta be getting more late inning work in these kind of situations. Period.
