You can definitely make a case of EL. Who are the other AL rookies making a splash? If Shingo has a great second half, like we all think we can (around 20 saves or so), he can definitely get ROY.

Frank is the best 1B in the American League, hands down.

MB has a very good chance of going. I have hopes for Esteban, but he just hasn’t been the same as last year. His 4.05 ERA says it all. If it were down to at least 3.30 I wouldn’t have a problem, but Buehrle is the one that deserves to go.

Loaiza wasn't snubbed. I think if he had pitched well down the stretch and led the Sox to the playoffs he would have gotten it. But, we all know he pitched crappy when we needed him the most last year.
