Sox Vs Cubs

The only one I can see the sox winning is the last one with Loaiza vs. Maddux. If we had Buehrle instead of Shoey going against Zambrano, I would like our chances as well.. Damn were f***ed.. ;)

You never know what you're going to get with this team - you think they're down and out of it, no chance of winning, and they go out and put double digets on the board. You think this team is going to stomp all over a team, and they score one run.

What the hell is your opinion.

In the "should the sox panic thread", here's what you posted

The Sox should panic right now, their pitching has been horrible, and they need to pick up the pace since the Cubs come to town and that won't be so pretty...I might be the only one to say this but, come Friday, Sat, Sun, the Cubs are going to make them look like the 62' Mets and the 03' Tigers

If you have an opinion state it. If you don't, don't bother cluttering up the board and increasing your post total with superfluous responses.

And I agree 100% - as I stated in the game thread. Frankly, you might care about your post total, but no one else does...

the Sox could have Danny Wright, Felix Diaz and Jon Rauch start those three games and it would still be a hard series to predict. why? because the crosstown series is unpredictiable. it is never about the best team, as good players can suck and bad players can be hero's more so in this series than any other. it's the way it has always been and the way it will be this year.

Keep lying to yourself if it makes you feel any better.

Sox would be lucky to beat Maddux (check out his last 9 starts versus Loaiza's) and I think it's safe to say we lose 5 out of 6 to the Cubs this year, esp without Magglio. Might lose all 6.

You are so very optimistic. ;)

I'm with ya on that one. It's completely impossible to tell where this team is going or what they are going to do next. They play like Champs one day and Chumps the next.

Consistently inconsistent, that's the theme for this years team.

Zambrano = Loss

Carlos is a great pitcher and there’s no argument about that. He’s 8-2 and has a very low ERA. Schoeneweis vs. him is no match. Now if Buehrle were up there it would look like a more interesting game.

If there's still one query about Zambrano it's that he doesn't pitch well when he lets his emotions get the better of him. Big hometown series, it could be his undoing. ;)

If we don't get out of this funk we are in, Brando will look like a psychic.

This is one of those things where I'd love nothing more than to chow on some big-time craw. If Sox take 5 out of 6, that would alright by me.

Not gonna happen though.
