NBA Mock Draft Thread

I don't know about anyone else here, but I'm really not that high on Crawford. I mean, I always liked him and thought he had great potential, but after seeing him finally get a lot of minutes this year, he didn't impress me much. Sure, he had a 40+ point game against the Wizards and was our leading scorer this year, but I don't see him as the type of player I want on the Bulls. I'd much rather sign-and-trade him, which makes me think of a new deal for Pierce. How about this:

Chicago Trades:

Chandler

#3 Pick

E-Rob

Crawford (sign-and-trade)

Boston Trades:

Pierce

1st round pick

How about this:

Chicago Trades:

Chandler

#3 Pick

E-Rob

Crawford (sign-and-trade)

Boston Trades:

Pierce

1st round pick

We can get more for Crawford than that.

Thanks for the compliment on the mock, too bad I won't be able to see if I was very close. I'm leaving tomorrow morning at 7:40 for a couple of weeks in Southern Cali. Pierce to Chicago would be great, but Ainge would be burned at the stake by Celtics fans, not that is matters lol.

Here is my official prediction. The Bulls trade the 3rd pick (Ben Gordon), Eddie Robinson, and Tyson Chandler to boston for Paul Pierce and the 25 th pick (David Harrison). Here's my 1st round mock:

1) Orlando- Emeka Okafor

2) Charlotte- Dwight Howard

3) Chicago (Traded to Boston)- Ben Gordon

4) LA Clippers- Shaun Livingston

5) Washington- Andre Igoudala

6) Atlanta- Luol Deng

7) Pheonix- Devin Harris

8) Toronto- Pavel Podkolzine

9) Philadelphia- Josh Childress

10) Cleveland- Josh Smith

11) Golden State- Andres Biedreins

12) Seattle- Luke Jackson

13) Portland- Sergei Monya

14) Utah- Kirk Snyder

15) Boston- Robert Swift

16) Utah- Al Jefferson

17) Atlanta- Rafael Araujo

18) New Orleans- Anderson Varejao

19) Miami- Jameer Nelson

20) Denver- Sebastian Telfair

21) Utah- JR Smith

22) Portland- Kris Humphries

23) Portland- Dorell Wright

24) Boston- Viktor Khryapa

25) Boston (Traded to Chicago)- David Harrison

26) Sacramento- DeLonte West

27) LA Lakers- Kevin Martin

28) San Antonio- Sasa Vujacic

29) Minnesota (Forefeits Pick)

30) Indiana- Donta Smith

BTW, trading Chandler and letting Fizer get drafyed by Charlotte leaves a gaping whole at PF. My solution; sign Stromile Swift with the MLE. I can see it now:

Hinrich, Crawford, Pierce, Swift, Curry

It's not like they didn't have a glaring hole w ith Fizer there. Guy never played.

I've read that Vroman could get selected by the bulls in the second half. I'm sure that'd piss off Shuf.

I have a bad feeling this Pierce deal isn't gonna go down.

Then we will draft Deng.

And then we will sit through another season of hell.

Made a few changes to the top 5 to reflect the Jamison for 5th pick trade that just went down. I think Shaq will end up in Dallas now with the Lakers getting the 5th pick with others.

Made a few more changes again. Man that trade really screwed up my mock :-(

1st Round.

8. Toronto Andris Biedrins

9. Philadelphia Luol Deng

10. Cleveland Jameer Nelson

11. Golden State Josh Childress

12. Seattle Luke Jackson

13. Portland Josh Smith

14. Utah Rafael Araujo

15. Boston Robert Swift

16. Utah Kirk Snyder

17. Atlanta Kris Humphries

Big trade for the Wizards there, getting Jamison. Lakers could get #5, Nash, Walker and Josh Howard now.

Nash, the 5, and Howard is what is good in that deal. Of course the Lakers now have Payton since he accepted his option (shocked the hell out of me).

Having to talk Walker is ugly.

However, if they could somehow parlay Walker and maybe the #5 into a good big men, that would be nice.

I'm hoping the Lakers get stuck with Walker, that will be hilarious to see him and Kobe fighting for shots each game.

Made a few changes to the top 5 to reflect the Jamison for 5th pick trade that just went down.

EDIT: I see espn.com is reporting this.

Laettner and Stackhouse to Dallas in the deal.

Great trade for both teams, getting Stackhouse allows Dallas to trade Finley in the deal for Shaq, possibly allowing them to keep Howard and Nash. Cuban has enough money to take on the extra contracts that Washington couldn't.

Call it a hunch, but I think the Bulls land Pierce and Harrington.

The Bulls need to trade one/both of the picks, i think that much is pretty obvious. You don't both those picks in this draft. You would think they acquired the 7 to make a move with it
