I'm going this afternoon to see the Sox loose, but hopefully the damn offense is there to score 15 runs or something  :ph34r:

Yoda = Cubs fan!

Yoda = Cubs fan!

There seems to be a few more than just him.

Finally Willie starts a game. :)

Lets be realistic here, shall we?

For the White Sox to steal a win today, the following events must occur:

1. Carlos Zambrano (2.25 ERA; arguably the best starter of the Cubs thus far) must collapse. In 14 starts this season "Z" has only pitched one outing where he's given up 6+ runs. ONE!

2. Felix Diaz (11.42 ERA) must pitch superbly: 3 or less runs through 6 innings would be ideal.

I'm sorry to sound pessimistic. It just appears very unlikely both of these scenarios will occur simultaneously.

Which is why I'm looking more forward to tomorrow's game with Loaiza, which we can win against Maddux.

On June 28, 2003 Zambrano gave up 4 runs in 6 innings for a no decision in a game the Sox won 7-6.

Let them play the game before you give him the win.

Alright, so one half of the equation is solved. Our hitters have the capability of hitting Zambrano

Now what about Diaz? He needs to keep us in this game.

Hahahaha...He just blazed Alou right there. I'm liking this confidence Diaz is showing right now.

Diaz 1-2-3 Willie up. :)

Willie k's.

Uribe (0-10) Make that 1-11.. And gets thrown out at 3rd :angry:

f***....You had to take the chance there. I can't be too mad at the try by Uribe. It would have been HUGE if he got in there safe.

Thomas walks.

What the hell was that Uribe? no way should that have NOT been a triple, hustle

From first to second he looked like he was jogging. :angry:

Well top of the 2nd. 0-0

Corky flies out to Timo :rolleyes: 1 out.

Ramirez walks, Hollandsworth up.

Hollandsworth pops it up to crede two down. Man on first two outs.

Props to diaz already :notworthy:

he's already surpassed my expectations

Fly out to timo inning over.
