If we give them something good, trust me....they wouldnt even hesitate to trade him.

Like I said, if they want Mags so bad.

Thats not exactly what I said, if you go back to the previous page, I said I would trade Maggs, Rauch, and a couple of players from the minors for Estrada, Ortiz and Drew, I don't want Andruw Jones.

Oh, sorry. But IMO, I'd rather have Jones that Drew.

I'd rather have Maggs than either of them...

so Rauch for Estrada and Ortiz?

I would rather have Maggs as well, but if we aren't going to sign him. On the Score today, Murphy had someone on the air from Atlanta, who said that Jones has been on the decline the last couple of years, and that he has bad knees, though believes that his numbers may rise by playing at the "Cell".

Does anyone have any quotes or something that shows how Garcia feels about the trade?

I am curious if he wanted to come here or if he is just gonna come here play the rest of the year and bolt...

The only thing that I saw was last night, on Sports Extra, where he said we have a good ball club, and that he is looking forward to coming here.

Talked to my Phillies friend the other day and he thinks they got jobbed when they gave away Estrada.

I think he's right.

At the time, it looked like the Braves did....wow, how so many people were wrong. I remember when that deal happen. I would love Estrada, he is a switch-hitter too. I would love Andruw Jones too. I wouldn't mind Ramon or Russ Ortiz.

Anyone who mentions us possibly getting Victor Martinez is a f***ing moron and know jack s*** about baseball. A cheap, young, very talented, stud on an up and coming team, oh yeah he's right on the block. And Olivo isn't close to him anyways. Plus he is a switch-hitting middle of the order guy. See, in the American League, there is this thing called the DH. So, imagine this, both Bard and Martinez could get in the game.

Agree 100 % about Martinez, just let it be known that it wasn't me that suggested it, I said Zaun, Charles Johnson, Kendall, Estrada, and even Lieberthal on a longshot.

That's exactly right.

How's the weather over there in Moscow?

future, all our prospects, for the chance we can put together a team capable of

beating NY in the playoffs, that is a bad bet.

I want to win now, but I also don't want to be the Orioles and finish last the next

15 years after this season.

If Miguel Olivo and Jeremy Reed were our entire future; it's probably best that we're going all out this year.

How's the weather over there in Moscow?

Beautiful, I am going to go to the beach later, surf a little...just be careful not to drink any of the water, Montezuma's Revenge and all.

we wouldn't have to mortgage our future if JR would open up his pursestrings and pay some free agents, if he really wants to win.
