I watched her play that american woman today on ESPN. Sharapova is increasing tennis's fan base already. And she doesn't grunt or yell like some woman tennis players, she has a soothing moan

2 years ago when she was 16 or 14 I can't remember, I saw her play on one of the outside courts at the Aussie Open. Pretty big girl in person, though she's pretty hot. She's toned down the grunting though, because you could hear her from 5 courts away back then.

Eh, not in the same league as Anna....she is hot, but not cute.

5-1 Sharapova in the 1st set, and she's serving for it at 15-15. Big upset in the making here.

Sharapova just won the 1st set 6-1. And Roddick is serving for the match in his semi against Ancic. Roddick just won in 4 sets, and will play defending champ Roger Federer in the Final.

I thought Serena would crush Sharapova, but so far I am wrong.

 

This should be a good match if Serena decides to try and battle back.

4-4 in the 2nd set with Serena serving. Crucial part of the match here.

See that great lob and other great shot Sharapova hit Aboz? She'll be serving for match now.

Wow, what an upset, Sharapova wins 6-1 6-4. And she's only 17 years old.
