The Critic
Just heard on ESPN that before the game, Oz called Wrigley "the worst park in the majors. The clubhouse, the showers, the parking....all terrible". He did add that "once you get on the field, though, it's great".
Sox It To Em
LOL, that is very true. I agree.
Flash Tizzle
Just heard on ESPN that before the game, Oz called Wrigley "the worst park in the majors. The clubhouse, the showers, the parking....all terrible". He did add that "once you get on the field, though, it's great". Let me take predict how one particular member of the media will react: "[Wrigley Field] worst park in the majors. The clubhouse, the showers, the parking....all terrible". This is possibly the worst comment muttered since broadcaster Hawk Harrelsons numerous verbal ducksnorts. The Blizzard of Oz continues to perpetuate the inferioty complex which encompasses White Sox marketing, players, and fanbase. How could anyone who calls the 'Ballmall-Formely-Known-As-Comiskey' home decide which stadium is the worst? How dare anyone speak out against the beautiful, magestic, timeless Wrigley Field?" Other information to include within his article: -William Ligue, i.e: druken fans -Neigborhood conditions of USCF -Cheap shot a JR -Ignore Ozzies second sentence: "once you get on the field, though, it's great". soxman352000
I have always wondered how Silverman can stand to work 2 hours a day with Moronotti.
HuskyCaucasian
If the Cubs would just GUT the inside of the stadium (leave the field and stands intackt) it would be a GREAT ballpark. But, the consesion areas and walkways are crap.

Seats are cramped, LOTS of obstructed view seats, and if you sit halfway up the lower deck seats you lose sight of flyballs due to the upper deck overhang. Not to mention that you can barely see the GLORIOUS manual scoreboard from those halfway-up seats either. As you mentioned, concession areas are awful and walkways are WAY too crowded. Restrooms are junk, also. All these things are to be expected from older ballparks, but are NEVER mentioned during the lovesongs some journalists sing about the Urinal. I've said it before, and I'll continue to say it - US Cellular Field BEATS THE s*** out of Wrigley Field when it comes to actually VIEWING a baseball game, and my overall experience at USCF is ALWAYS better than at the Urinal.....ALWAYS. The Critic
I have always wondered how Silverman can stand to work 2 hours a day with Moronotti. He's too obsessed with not appearing to be gay to even notice who he's talking to. "Did I mention any women during the last segment? I should probably talk about how much I like women. You know, just in case someone's just tuning in now and didn't hear me talk about my love for women...."
greg775
Great job on what Mariotti would say, Tizzle, great job! I love Oz. Telling it like it is. Good posts about Wrigley. I can't imagine if you had one of those seats where you can't even see the scoreboard you'd think the place was that great. I'm surprised we don't draw more fans considering the comfort of the Cell in comparision with Wrig.
